Oh how we love Korean street food. We try our hardest not to be tempted to eat it everyday because it is so unhealthy. However, when we stumbled upon this food vendor while in Dongdaemun last weekend we couldn’t help but stop. In one instant, all of our childhood dreams came true when we saw the magic that is the french fry covered corn dog!
We weren’t even hungry, but that’s not even a consideration when you are face to face with this mutated wonder. We like corn dogs. We like french fries. And so with these two combined, we knew we were in for a treat. Even with the line being a bit long, we waited. Finally we held in our hands the awe-inspiring, french fry covered corn dog.
Hedgers Abroad 
It’s an abomination and a triumph of human ingenuity at the same time. When I lived in Korea I never saw these. These actually look like they’d go over really well in the US. 🙂
They would, indeed, be well received by the general population of the US. It wasn’t the most classy thing we had ever eaten, but the sheer magical quality of its composition elated the senses. We thought they would be hard to find, but they were at almost every stand we passed once we started looking. Myeong-dong, Dongdaemun, and Gangnam all supposedly have them, but I am beginning to think that the trend is spreading. Entrepreneurial opportunity back home? I think yes!
