Guys… We’re Back!

Gosh guys! We’ve been pretty quiet over here at Hedgers Abroad for the past couple of weeks. A lot has been going on and we’ve been so busy that we had to simply put our blogging on hold. The main reason for this was Ryan’s mom coming to visit us! She has been to Korea twice now. The first time she came, it was our first year, we were still living in Seoul, and we were just Korea babies. Continue reading

Yeosu in Instagram Photos

As I’m sure many of you have noticed by now, we love Yeosu and enjoy showing off its beauty through photos and video. We’ve really been happy to display the various aspects of our city in the City Guide we’ve been working on, but we wanted to take some time and show a bit more. Interview with an Expat – Elicia & Tom

Few people we’ve met in our travels have the absolute joy for life that we’ve seen in Tom and Elicia Shepard. Check out their websites (Life’s A Journee and Klimbing Korean Mountains) and their ever-updated Instagram accounts @lifesajournee_liveit and @klimbingkoreanmountains. Continue reading

We’ve lived in Jeollanamdo for a year and a half now and we have done our fair share of beach camping around the province. We’ve noticed, however, that there is a lack of English resources about the beaches here in the southwest corner of the country, so we’ve decided to put together a list of the most popular and largest beaches in the area with a couple of hidden gems thrown into the mix too. Interview With an Expat – Scott & Megan

Scott and Megan have always impressed us with their adventurous spirit. From their photography, videos, and new skills with their hyperlapses, their website is one of our favorite blogs about life and travel in Asia. Last year, they too were teaching in South Korea, but our paths so far have only crossed online. They are currently long-term travelling and have agreed to answer some questions about their lifestyle.
