Island Hopping in El Nido

In El Nido for the majority of our vacation to the Philippines, we had ample opportunities to enjoy the beautiful waters that surrounded us. The view from this small, but quickly growing town would dazzle the most discerning traveler. Dozens of islands are spread across the bay, each climbing out of pristine waters, reaching for the beautiful blue sky.

Let’s Go To…Oklahoma!

Just in time for Ryan’s Birthday, we were able to take a two week vacation to our home state of Oklahoma. During our visit we were able to spend time with the majority of our large families and participate in some of our favorite activities. We went hiking, shot guns, caught fish, drove red dirt roads, ate massive amounts of food, and laughed endlessly with loved ones. Continue reading

Let’s go to… Yongma Land!

Yesterday, we participated in the Weekly Photo Challenge from the Daily Post, “Abandoned.” We heard tales of an abandoned amusement park. Once called Yongma Land by throngs of excited children, now defunct and dilapidated. We just had to check this place out.
